1. Last Sunday the high was 112 degrees. Yuck.
2. My family believes in sharing. We share everything...even the flu. It started the previous Friday with my niece. By Monday morning both my kids were throwing up and not feeling well. Lucky me got this nasty bug on Monday night. I totally thought I was going to die. This flu bug has since rotated through almost the entire family. There are only a few chosen ones who have yet to receive this lovely gift.
3. MURDER! Yup, that's right. Murder. There was a double homicide on Wednesday morning right here in my home town of Kerman. The last homicide to hit my little town was 15 years ago. I happened to know the woman that was killed. She was the secretary at the high school I attended. CRAZY!!!! Here's a link to the story...
Kerman Murders
4. Madilyn took a face plant out the doggy door. She was climbing through the doggy door and got a little top heavy and "ker-plunk" she landed face down! She got a bloody nose, bit her lip and had a nice scratched up face. Sorry, no pictures to document this one.
5. Michael helped Grandma wash Jiggers the dog. They did it outside in the hose. Jiggers loved it! This was after Michael had been playing in the hose and decided to get his little sister wet.
6. We are still having fun. Although we have been deathly ill, bruised and battered we are all still alive and happy to be here. Maybe this week will be just a bit nicer though.

That is just TOO hot. Hope it cools down for ya!
How fun to play at grandma's house... even if you are sharing the flu. At least you're not wiping kids' snot all by yourself, right?
